Terms of the private round and its draw.

These terms apply to every contribution to the Demonopol private round and to every ticket in its $150,000 cash draw. They are written to be read: if something here is unclear, ask us before you contribute.

01

Who runs this

The private round and its prize draw are offered and run by Demonopol LLC (Company No. 4008 LLC), P.O. Box 2897, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines (“Demonopol”, “we”). Questions about these terms go to legal@demonopol.com.

02

What you are buying

You buy MONO, Demonopol's token, at the private round price of $0.005 per MONO. The private round is 94,500,000 MONO, so it stops at $472,500. Every $100 buys 20,000 MONO.

Private round MONO is released 10% at the token generation event (TGE), then in 12 equal monthly installments after a 3-month cliff. Every allocation and schedule is set out on the tokenomics page.

Every $100 contributed also registers one ticket in the draw below. Tickets come with a contribution; they are not sold on their own.

03

Who can take part

You can contribute, and a ticket can win, only if all of these are true:

  • You are 18 or over.
  • You are not resident in, and not contributing from, United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. Outlying Islands, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.
  • Taking part is lawful where you live, including any rule there on prize draws linked to a purchase.
  • You are not Demonopol personnel, or an immediate family member of one.

We check the country a connection comes from and decline orders from the countries above. A ticket registered in breach of these conditions is void and cannot win, and we may decline the contribution it came from.

04

Buying tickets

Choose a number of tickets, give an email address, and choose card or crypto. Nothing is charged until you confirm the payment with the payment provider or in your wallet.

A contribution counts, and its tickets are registered to you, once the payment has settled. Tickets are whole: $100 is one ticket, and an amount between tickets does not round up.

05

The draw

Prizes. $100,000 in cash to one ticket, and $500 in cash to each of 100 further tickets: 101 winning tickets, $150,000 in total. A ticket can win only once. Prizes are not exchangeable for MONO.

When. The draw is held once the private round is full, with all 4,725 tickets taken. The prizes are paid out of the full round, so no draw is held before then.

How. When the round is full the ticket register is frozen and published in full: every ticket, and the wallet it belongs to. Winning tickets are then selected on-chain using a decentralized verifiable random function. The request and response transactions, the winning ticket numbers and the payouts are published together.

Odds. At most 4,725 tickets can exist and 101 of them win, so the chance of any one ticket winning a prize is 101 in 4,725 — about 1 in 47 — and of winning the $100,000, 1 in 4,725.

06

Claiming a prize

We contact winners on the details given with their contribution. Before any prize is paid, the winner completes identity verification and we confirm the conditions in clause 3 are met. Prizes are paid in cash. Winners are responsible for any tax due on a prize where they live.

07

The risks

Contributing to a token round can lose you money. In particular:

  • MONO's value can fall, including to nothing, and it may never trade at or above the price you paid. Demonopol makes no promise about what MONO will be worth, at any time.
  • Private round MONO is released over time, and what has not been released cannot be sold.
  • There may be no market in which to sell MONO, or only a thin one.
  • Smart contracts and blockchains can fail, be attacked, or change in ways that affect MONO.
  • The law on tokens and on prize draws differs between countries and is changing; a change may affect MONO, the round or the draw.
  • Winning is unlikely: any one ticket has about a 1 in 47 chance of a prize.

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Contribute only what you can afford to lose.

Your details

How we collect, use and keep your details is set out in the privacy notice.

09

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and the date at the top changes when we do. A change never reduces the prizes or worsens the odds for tickets already registered.
